Alpha Tau - Chapter Advisory Board
Art Krasilovsky
Chair + Alumnus Advisor. Art has served on the House Corporation starting in 1979 and founding member of the CAB. He has been on CABs for 2 chapters in Atlanta when he lived there. Art is currently on the Theta Chi Foundation Chapter Scholarship Committee as well as the Lewis Award committee.
He has received multiple awards from our chapter and nationally including the David DeVol Award, as well as the Earl Rhodes “Theta Chi for Life” Award, from our Grand Chapter. He is a member of the Theta Chi International “official family.” An advisor to the Chapter who works primarily with the chapter president. Art has also been awarded the OU Sorority and Fraternity Chapter Advisor of the 2014-2015 year.
Art is a retired clinical social worker and resides in Cleveland.
Jeff Roberts
Member. Brother Roberts has been involved with Alpha Tau Chapter since his graduation in 1978. He has enjoyed a long career providing mental health counseling services to youth, families, and adults. He recently retired to explore new adventures which may include further counseling.
He was on Alpha Tau’s House Corporation and was House Corp president for most of the 1980’s. He initiated his son Benjamin into the Chapter in 2012. When there was an arson in the house Spring 2015 he coordinated the cleaning and rebuilding of the kitchen, calendar room, and the Red and White room. He has been a member of Alpha Tau’s CAB since its inception. “I do believe that Theta Chi is for life. Thank you Brothers for allowing me to serve you. L&R”.
Recipient of the David E. DeVol award..... TWICE! To International Headquarters Knowledge, Brother Roberts is the only one to have received this award multiple times.
Jim Destadio
Member. Jim pledged AT Fall 1976 and left OU the following June. To his credit, he later went to Franklin University and received a BSBA in Financial Management. He had a successful career in corporate America retiring after 20 years with Abbott Laboratories in Corporate Procurement where he provided a great deal of mentoring and coaching to this Fortune 500 company.
On a personal note, he married his high school sweetheart Katie in 1981; they have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. He is now retired and hangs in hat in Plain City, OH as well as Sherrills Ford, NC.
Jim will be learning a lot his first year on the CAB regarding the major changes Theta Chi has made since 1977 starting off with the financial operations.
Steve Leist
Member. Steve has a vast experience in Fraternity Life having worked in Greek Life at Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Radford University.
Steve is part of the Theta Chi International “official family.” He earned this distinction working as a field rep for IHQ and as a Regional Councilor in Georgia, after his undergraduate studies. Steve currently is a Financial Aid Advisor at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
He works directly with the Chapter Treasurer.
